HI,

I just had some thoughts about Deviantart latelyBritney Spears well well well . It's because I've noticed how activity is decreasing. Not on my profile but in general I mean. (my friends, people I watch, other users like Sakimichan who usually is having 10k favs per image now is having 2k being the most popular in the DA) So I checked this and that some statistics and it seems activity dropped really bad. Pretty large part of visitors comes from India where you usually buy clickers.
Now I wonder about two things:

1. Have you also noticed it?

2. Why is it happening? Britney Spears Lucky 

For WHY part I have some thoughts too. I already shared few months ago in few sentences what I thought of changing everything that was actually  working out well (Interface I mean) SO I don't want to repeat myself but in general People didn't like it (From what they say DA ignored them and they got upset) so they left. The new menu is created in a way that I thought people- new artists with potential are not having chance to get noticed and in a result they will leave. Thats basically how services dies (No I'm not saying it will happen to DA, I'm not an analyst, it's just a thought)


Or else You USA are having a kind of vacation and just left internet for a couple of weeks to bring the rest of a world heart attack. Britney Spears No words

There could be a lot of reasons. Around the circles I follow, a lot of people are focused on anime conventions, a lot of people are focused on finals and finishing school and the crap ton of work you have to do to prepare and do all of that lol. A lot of people that are finishing school are looking into work and what not and just aren't on dA right now. It happens every year, so I didn't really think anything of it.

Though, if it's site wide it's probably because so many people (including some in the circle of people that I watch/ed) just flat out left instead of being patient or open minded with all of dA's new changes. I also read somewhere that the way things are populated on dA's front page and features and whatever now are different, so maybe the way popular people are getting less traffic?

I couldn't think of any other reasons :o
